White has been peeking through its blurry eyes at us for a few years now, just getting tempted to come out of its hibernation. It’s time we unleash white all the way. We’ve all seen it trying to tease us in the HUGE popularity of white kitchen cabinets. Well, my question is: Why not use white on everything? Why are we holding back? Why not let white be acceptable on anything and everything?
White comforter? White walls? White furniture? Dare we?
Aside from the fear we all have ingrained in us, as a direct reflection of our baby boomer predecessors, white can seem somewhat terrifying. And let’s face it, we feel like we have to make a statement with EVERY single item, am I right? Well, statements are meant to be singular, and impactful, like a beautiful diamond pattern on a white quilt. Or even just a perfect arrangement of lilies.
Or, the incredible arrangement of ceiling soffits or well planned wall features. All painted white.
Make your bedroom feel like a serene and restful hotel suite.
White can be the perfect base color for your interior palette, or the perfect incredible focal point. And unlike the past, today’s white can be cleanable, fresh, and totally tasteful.
And you don’t even have to wait until after Memorial Day!
